Shift in Technology Integration:
Bourntec Solutions' position as the leading service management integration technology has given them a unique insight on integration and how the market is changing. Internal integration options, such as Integrations between ServiceNow and ServiceNow, for example, data lake integration and other enterprise software systems, Integration with other cloud-based applications such as SalesForce and Atlassian Jira, were the most prevalent requests in the past. All these integration solutions were centred on the technologies that needed to be linked together.
We now work with several Fortune companies to manage their service provider integration. They use a Service Integration and Management (SIAM) strategy to onboard and offboard their service providers quickly. This strategy required Bourntec solutions to be more than just integrated individual technology solutions like ServiceNow, SalesForce, Tableau but to be a whole Service Provider ecosystem.
Because we assume responsibility for end point integrations and ensure that they work through updates and any changes required by the customer or the vendor, Bourntec solutions are particularly well suited for facilitating SIAM. Customers now want the capacity to integrate with not just one or two service providers, but twenty or more – as well as the option to on-board and off-board providers at a rate of ten to twenty years.
To facilitate service connectivity, we supply three components.
Service Bond: ServiceNow, for example, integrates corporate and cloud apps. Using a SaaS message broker service, Service Bond allows real-time bidirectional connection with a range of data sources.
Data Models: establish a standard model for the types of data that service providers and their consumer’s exchange. All data is matched to the Bourntec solutions data model before being changed to the customer's data model.
Web Services: Integrate with API gateways from various service providers. We offer this as a service, which means that any changes to the provider's API are updated by us to ensure that real-time bidirectional data transfers continue.
We've built a set of vendor connections that work in tandem with each vendor's requirements for sending and receiving data through their preferred technology, while providing the customer ultimate discretion over what data is shared with or consumed by their ServiceNow instance.
Being able to onboard and offboard service providers is a process that entails much more than just integrating data, but it won't work if you can't communicate with your service providers, and they can't communicate with you.
