Supplier Diversity

Bourntec's approach to Supplier Diversity promotes an inclusive business environment for the benefit of our company and our suppliers. Our program works with value-added small, minority and women-owned businesses to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions that fuel our mutual growth.

Our Supplier Diversity approach consists of working with 30 different minority businesses. In a nutshell, while Bourntec prides itself on a small but nimble approach, we work with other small business in order to champion entrepreneurship and innovation, and are willing to share opportunities with them.

Utilization -

integrating strategies to include competitive sourcing opportunities;

Tracking -

monitoring and reporting our progress towards achieving our supplier diversity targets with emphasis on continuous improvement;

Certification -

verifying that businesses meet the criteria of ownership to qualify as a minority, women-owned, small disadvantaged firm.

Outreach -

seeking diverse suppliers through active involvement with small business and minority development organizations and participation in various trade show events.
