Bourntec wins one year Contract to support Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS)

 

Illinois, September 17, 2008 - The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) awarded a contract to Bourntec Solutions Inc. to provide consulting services on the Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP), Workflow Engine, EA FISCAL, Integrated Address Book, and future development efforts which include the Consolidated Budget Application with Reporting Capabilities, OEA Tools application, Commonwealth Edison PIPP, Social Security Number privacy mitigation, OEA website development, and development of a pilot project for the deployment of scanners to field staff.

Work under this contract will support the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) staff with a detailed technical documentation of the development work along with the required knowledge transfer for a smooth operation with meeting the deadlines.

The primary goal of this contract is to temporarily assist the existing HFS Energy Assistance development staff in addressing the programmatic needs of the Office of Energy Assistance (OEA). A secondary goal of this contract is to provide the detailed technical documentation associated with the assigned development work and conduct appropriate knowledge transfer that will enable the HFS staff to support the applications on an on-going basis.
